The houndstooth coat!

Sometimes we look around and notice that everyone is wearing a certain colour, print or key piece.  That’s what happened to me and the houndstooth pattern. I loved this print since I was a child and lately it seems to have conquered the winter wardrobes... But my real crash on this print, is the coats that seem to be popular this season too...

Μερικές φορές κοιτάμε γύρω μας και παρατηρηρούμε ότι όλοι φοράνε ένα συγκεκριμένο χρώμα, σχέδιο ή κάποιο συγκεκριμένο ρούχο ή αξεσουάρ. Αυτό ακριβώς συνέβη με μένα και το ‘pied de poule’. Λατρεύω αυτό το μοτίβο από τότε που ήμουν παιδί και τον τελευταίο καιρό  μου φαίνεται ότι το βλέπω παντού ... Αλλά  η πραγματική μου αγάπη σε αυτό το ύφασμα, είναι τα παλτό που φαίνεται να είναι επίσης  πολύ δημοφιλή αυτήν την σεζόν ...

During my last visit to Primark, I found a coat with houndstooth print and of course I couldn’t resist to it...

Κατά την τελευταία μου επίσκεψη στο Primark, βρήκα ένα παλτό με ‘pied de poule’  και φυσικά δεν μπόρεσα να του αντισταθώ ...

The poncho or blanket coat...the absolute fashion trend!

This winter, we are going to insist on the come back of the poncho or blanket coats, the coolest fashion trend that most fashionistas have adopted.  They provide you the feeling of something warm, comfy, cheerful, and blankety.  You can wrap yourself up in, to keep warm but at the same time, you are so stylish and fashionable!  It might not appear to be the easiest trend to pull off at first, but every good stylist knows that a  blanket coat will work with just about everything in your wardrobe.

Αυτό το χειμώνα, θα επιμείνουμε στην επιστροφή του πόντσο ή της κουβέρτας πανωφόρι, την πιο cool τάση της μόδας την οποία οι περισσότερες fashionistas έχουν υιοθετήσει.  Σου προσφέρουν την αίσθηση του ζεστού, άνετου, χαρούμενου, και τύπου κουβέρτας.  Μπορείς να τυλιχτείς, να είσαι ζεστή, αλλά ταυτόχρονα, να είσαι τόσο στυλάτη και μοδάτη!  Μπορεί να μη φαίνεται να είναι η πιο εύκολη τάση, αλλά ο κάθε καλός στυλίστας ξέρει ότι το πανωφόρι κουβέρτα ταιριάζει με οτιδήποτε βρίσκεται στη ντουλάπα σου.

 

 

Of course, we can't get enough of Burberry's poncho, the main piece of Christopher Bailey's defile'.  The most famous poncho of this season that all fashionistas have worn with their initials on it!

Φυσικά δε χορταίνουμε το Burberry πόντσο, το κύριο κομμάτι του ντεφιλέ του Christopher Bailey.  Το πιο διάσημο πόντσο της σεζόν το οποίο φόρεσαν όλες οι fashionistas με τα αρχικά τους πάνω του!
