 A lesson in style: Harvey Nichols SS14 has a back-to-school feeling

This season’s window display at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge plays with the notion of ‘Fashion School’  to provide us with an education on the must-have pieces for our spring/summer wardrobe.  Christopher Kane, Jil Sander, Chanel and Alexander McQueen all take part in the back-to-school environment.

Ένα μάθημα στυλ: To Harvey Nichols μας δίνει μια γεύση από επιστροφή στα θρανία.

Οι βιτρίνες της φετινής περιόδου στο Harvey Nichols του Knightsbridge παίζουν με την ιδέα της «Σχολής Μόδας» με σκοπό να μας εκπαιδεύσουν για τα απαραίτητα κομμάτια της ντουλάπας μας για την άνοιξη και το καλοκαίρι. Οι Christopher Kane, Jil Sander, Chanel και Alexander McQueen παίρνουν μέρος σ’αυτήν την επιστροφή στα θρανία.

This is certainly the best dressed back-to-school attire we've ever encountered. I mean who wears McQueen at school ?

Αυτά είναι σίγουρα τα καλύτερα ρούχα για επιστροφή στα θρανία που  έχουμε ποτέ συναντήσει. Θέλω να πω ποιος φοράει McQueen στο σχολείο;

The Lanvin dress

Strolling around Harvey Nichols last Saturday I fell in love with this Lanvin dress!!!  And I couldn't resist sharing it with you!

Kάνοντας βόλτα στο Harvey Nichols το περασμένο Σάββατο, ερωτεύτηκα ένα Lanvin φόρεμα!!! Και δε μπορούσα να αντισταθώ, έπρεπε να το μοιραστώ μαζί σας!

And so did my friend Elena, who tried it on!

Το ίδιο συνέβη και στη φίλη μου Έλενα, η οποία και το δοκίμασε!

She also matched it with similar colour Yves St Laurent pumps.

Το συνδίασε επίσης με ένα ζευγάρι παπούτσια Yves St Laurent στο ίδιο χρώμα.

She looks fabulous!!! Don't you think????

Keep Calm and Go to London

This is my motto!  And the reason is that London is my favourite city in the world.  So, I couldn't deny Dimitra's invitation, and together with Androniki, one of my best friends, we visited her during the last days of January.

Μείνε ήρεμος και πήγαινε στο Λονδίνο!  Αυτό είναι το μόττο μου, και ο λόγος είναι οτι το Λονδίνο είναι η αγαπημένη μου πόλη στον κόσμο.  Έτσι, δε θα μπορούσα να αρνηθώ την πρόσκληση της Δήμητρας, και μαζί με την Ανδρονίκη, μία απο τις καλύτερες φίλες μου, την επισκεφθήκαμε τις τελευταίες μέρες του Ιανουαρίου.

During this visit to London, we did a little bit of everything.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της επίσκεψής μας στο Λονδίνο, κάναμε λίγο απ'όλα.

Shopping

We spent most of our time in shopping and window shopping.  We began from Regent street, the High Street shops and the department stores.

Είναι φυσικό οτι περάσαμε τον περισσοτερο χρόνο μας στα μαγαζιά.  Ξεκινήσαμε απο τη Regent Street, τα μαγαζιά και τα πολυκάταστήματα στο κέντρο του Λονδίνου.

...and finally Piccadilly street and our favourite Laduree shop.
...και καταλήξαμε στην Piccadilly street και στο αγαπημένο μας κατάστημα Laduree.

We visited the Westfield shopping mall.
Eπισκεφθήκαμε το εμπορικό κέντρο Westfield.

During the last days we went to Knightsbridge.  First stop: Harrods.
Kατά τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων ημερών πήγαμε στο Knightsbridge.  Πρώτη στάση: Harrods.

...until we reached our final destination, Saatchi Gallery, where we visited the largest private collection of Russian/Soviet art in the world.

...μέχρι που φτάσαμε στον τελικό μας προορισμό, τη Saatchi Gallery, όπου επισκεφτήκαμε τη μεγαλύτερη Ρωσσική/Σοβιετική ιδιωτική συλλογη έργων τέχνης στον κόσμο.
