EFL Gallery: Our favourite e-shop!

Just a few days ago, EFL Gallery, a fabulous e-shop, opened its online gates, and I couldn't be happier.   For many reasons... First of all it is a Greek-Dutch e-shop. In EFL Gallery you will find unique handmade designs, such as jewellery, bags, accessories,  as well as decorative pieces made by talented Greek and Dutch designers.  Some of my favourite designers found 'a new home' in EFL, making it easy to check on their new pieces and make them mine whenever I want.

But what makes EFL Gallery really unique is its humanitarian profile.  Huub Lustenhouwer and Elena Filis-Lustenhouwer, the founders of EFL, believe that 'by transferring love, believes and care to our fellow human beings, then one day we may succeed'!  Therefore, they will share part of EFL's profits to charity organizations.  The ones closest to their hearts are the Dutch 'Warchild' and the Greek  'Smile of the child'.

Μόλις πριν λίγες μέρες το EFL Gallery, ένα υπέροχο e-shop, άνοιξε τις διαδυκτιακές του πύλες.  Ενθουσιάστηκα από την πρώτη στιγμή, για πολλούς λόγους...  Πρώτα απ'όλα είναι ένα Ελληνο-Ολλανδικό e-shop.  Στο EFL Gallery θα βρείτε μοναδικές χειροποίητες δημιουργίες, όπως κοσμήματα, τσάντες, άξεσουαρ, αλλά και διακοσμητικά αντικείμενα, φτιαγμένα από ταλαντούχους Έλληνες και Όλλανδους σχεδιαστές.  Μερικοί από τους πιο αγαπημένους μου σχεδιαστές βρήκαν 'ένα καινούριο σπίτι' στο EFL, κάνοντας πιο εύκολο για μένα να βλέπω τα καινούρια τους σχέδια και να τα κάνω δικά μου όποτε θέλω.

Αλλά αυτό που κάνει το EFL Gallery πραγματικά μοναδικό, είναι το ανθρωπιστικό προφίλ του.  Ο Huub Lustenhouwer και η Έλενα Φίλη- Lustenhouwer, ιδρυτές του EFL,  πιστεύουν ότι 'μεταφέροντας την αγάπη, τα πιστεύω μας και φροντίδα στους συνανθρώπους μας, τότε  μια μέρα ίσως να τα καταφέρουμε'!  Έτσι, θα διαθέσουν μέρος από τα κέρδη του EFL σε φιλανθρωπικούς οργανισμούς.  Αυτοί που είναι πιο κοντά στις καρδιές τους είναι το Ολλανδικό 'Warchild' και το Ελληνικό 'Το χαμόγελο του παιδιού΄.

Chiltern Firehouse

Chiltern Firehouse is the restaurant in the new Andre Balazs hotel located at 1 Chiltern Street, Marylebone, London, occupying the building of the former Marylebone Fire Station. It is London’s hottest celebrity hangout right now and that’s why paparazzi are continually parked outside. Apart from the celebrities, it’s worth visiting Chiltern Firehouse for the building itself, which is very beautiful  boasting high ceilings, amazing floors, impressive decoration and a picturesque courtyard. The atmosphere in the restaurant  is amazing and the menu is ok... I believe the best seats are at the kitchen counter, where you can watch the chefs at work in their lavishly appointed huge open kitchen. I really enjoyed my brunch in Chiltren Firehouse and if you are in London, you should definitely visit it!

Το Chiltern Firehouse είναι το εστιατόριο στο νέο ξενοδοχείο του Andre Balazs που βρίσκεται στον αριθμό 1 της Chiltern Street στο Marylebone του Λονδίνου,και καταλαμβάνει το κτίριο του πρώην Πυροσβεστικού Σταθμού του Marylebone. Είναι το πιο hot στέκι των διασημοτήτων του Λονδίνου αυτή την στιγμή και γι 'αυτό το λόγο οι παπαράτσι είναι συνεχώς σταθευμένοι από έξω. Εκτός από τις διασημότητες,αξίζει να επισκεφτεί κανείς το Chiltern Firehouse για το ίδιο το κτίριο το οποίο είναι πολύ όμορφο, ψηλοτάβανο, με καταπληκτικά πατώματα, εντυπωσιακή διακόσμηση και μια πολύ γραφική αυλή. Η ατμόσφαιρα στο εστιατόριο είναι εκπληκτική και το μενού είναι καλό ... Οι καλύτερες θέσεις πιστεύω ότι είναι στο πάγκο της κουζίνας, όπου μπορεί  κανείς να παρακολουθήσει τους σεφ να δημιουγούν στην τεράστια ανοιχτή κουζίνα τους. Απόλαυσα πραγματικά το brunch μου στο Chiltren Firehouse και αν είστε στο Λονδίνο μην παραλείψετε να το επισκεφτείτε!

and of course chocolate tart with ice-cream for dessert!!!

και φυσικά για γλυκό τάρτα σοκολάτας με παγωτό!!!
