Let's fly away...

If you are an animal print 'fan', it is time to get past it and instead give your wardrobe a sweet makeover by taking some inspiration from the skies! We’re talking about bird prints and bird motifs on clothes, bags and accessories that have become one of our favourite prints on the runway this season. It was truly a zoo, since animals of all kinds were embroidered, printed, and collaged onto every type of clothing or accessory. But for some reason, bird prints and feathers, seem to be extremely popular. You can find them on dresses, coats, sweatshirts, scarves and jewellery.

Αν είστε λάτρεις του animal print, είναι καιρός να το ξεπεράσετε και να ανανεώσετε γλυκά την γκαρνταρόμπα σας παίρνοντας έμπνευση από τον ουρανό! Εννοούμαι τις στάμπες και τα μοτίφ με πουλιά σε ρούχα, τσάντες και αξεσουάρ που ήταν το αγαπημένο print για φέτος. Οι πασαρέλες θύμιζαν πραγματικά ζωολογικό κήπο, μιας και είδαμε τυπώματα και κεντήματα από διάφορα ζώα σε όλα τα ρούχα και αξεσουάρ. Όμως για κάποιο λόγο, τα πουλιά, όπως και τα πούπουλα, ήταν τα πιο δημοφιλη. Μπορείτε να τα βρείτε σε φορέματα, παλτό, φούτερ, φουλάρια και κοσμήματα.

Eat, drink, laugh...'Mazi'

‘Mazi’ is a fairly new Greek restaurant in Notting Hill (London) that serves traditional Greek recipes with a modern twist in a relaxed environment. The restaurant’s vision is to show the rest of the world how innovative, tasty and refined Greek food can be.

Το Mazi είναι ένα σχετικά καινούριο Ελληνικό εστιατόριο στο Notting Hill του Λονδίνου, το οποίο προσφέρει παραδοσιακά Ελληνικά πιάτα με μια μοντέρνα προσέγγιση σε ένα χαλαρό περιβάλλον. Το όραμα του εστιατορίου είναι να δείξει στον κόσμο πόσο καινοτόμα, γευστική και ραφινάτη μπορεί να είναι η Ελληνική κουζίνα.

I read about Mazi on press in many occasions, so last weekend I went there with some friends to check it out for myself...And here I am ready for a Greek dinner .

Διάβασα για το Mazi σε πολλά περιοδικά, και γι'αυτό το περασμένο Σαββατοκύριακο το επισκέφτηκα παρέα με κάποιους φίλους... Και εδώ είμαι έτοιμη για ένα Ελληνικό δείπνο.

The menu was short but with very interesting dishes and it was so hard to choose as I wanted to try everything...

Ο κατάλογος ήταν μικρός αλλά με ενδιαφέροντα πιάτα και ήταν αρκετά δύσκολο να αποφασίσω τι να διαλέξω αφού ήθελα να τα δοκιμάσω όλα...

I loved Mazi’s wine list which is entirely Greek!

Μ’άρεσε πολύ η λίστα κρασιών του Mazi, η οποία είναι εξ’ολοκλήρου Ελληνική!

The food was really tasty with original greek ingredients and nice presentation.

Το φαγητό ήταν πολύ γευστικό με γνήσια παραδοσιακά συστατικά και ωραία παρουσίαση.

I had the feta tempura with lemon marmalade and caper meringue

Δοκίμασα την φέτα tempura με μαρμελάδα λεμόνι και μαρένγκα κάπαρης

The Octopus rizoto with red wine and spices

Το ριζότο με χταπόδι, κόκκινο κρασί και μπαχαρικά

And the cool souvlaki with pork strip in rice paper

Και το cool χοιρινό σουβλάκι σε ρυζόχαρτο

Casual Saturday!

Inspired by this quote, for this sunny Saturday morning, I would like to propose to you a casual chic outfit that I tried on in 'I BLOOM' store and I loved it!

Eμπνευσμένη από αυτή την αναφορά, γι'αυτό το ηλιόλουστο πρωινό του Σαββάτου, θα ήθελα  να σας προτείνω ένα ευκολοφόρετο, κομψό ντύσιμο που δοκίμασα στο κατάστημα 'Ι BLOOM' και το αγάπησα!

Since Saturday is considered to be a relaxing day, I chose to wear these comfortable 'I BLOOM' pants in grey training style and I paired them with a silk printed 'Essentiel' blouse.  The 'Red Valentino' red shoes and bag were the colourful details that made the difference to the whole outfit.

Επειδή το Σάββατο θεωρείται μία χαλαρή μέρα, επέλεξα αυτό το άνετο 'I BLOOM' γκρι παντελόνι σε στυλ φόρμας και το συνδύασα με μία μεταξωτή 'Essentiel' μπλούζα με σχέδια.  Τα 'Red Valentino' κόκκινα παπούτσια και η τσάντα ήταν οι χρωματιστές λεπτομέρειες που έκαναν τη διαφορά σ'όλο το ντύσιμο.
