Louboutin's New London Home

Christian Louboutin has opened a dedicated heaven in Harrods department store in London a few days ago.

It is located on the first floor and offers the designer’s latest shoe and handbag collections along with some exclusive new styles.Using iconic London landmarks as inspiration (think Covent Garden Opera House, London underground tiles and Big Ben) interior designer Lee Brom, has implemented a chic one of a kind installation for the luxury brand.

Ο Christian Louboutin άνοιξε ένα ονειρεμένο κατάστημα μέσα στο Harrods του Λονδίνου πριν από μερικές μέρες.

Βρίσκεται στον πρώτο όροφο του Harrods και διαθέτει τσάντες και παπούτσια του σχεδιαστή καθώς και μερικά αποκλειστικά καινούρια σχέδια. Χρησιμοποιώντας τα εικονικά αξιοθέατα του Λονδίνου (όπως την Όπερα του Covent Garden, τα πλακάκια από το μετρό του Λονδίνου και το Big Ben) ο διακοσμητής Lee Brom έχει καταφέρει να δημιουργήσει ένα μοναδικό σικ κατάστημα για τον πολυτελή οίκο.

In this shoe heaven I finally managed to find my favourite yellow spiked pumps in my size.

Eat, drink, laugh...'Mazi'

‘Mazi’ is a fairly new Greek restaurant in Notting Hill (London) that serves traditional Greek recipes with a modern twist in a relaxed environment. The restaurant’s vision is to show the rest of the world how innovative, tasty and refined Greek food can be.

Το Mazi είναι ένα σχετικά καινούριο Ελληνικό εστιατόριο στο Notting Hill του Λονδίνου, το οποίο προσφέρει παραδοσιακά Ελληνικά πιάτα με μια μοντέρνα προσέγγιση σε ένα χαλαρό περιβάλλον. Το όραμα του εστιατορίου είναι να δείξει στον κόσμο πόσο καινοτόμα, γευστική και ραφινάτη μπορεί να είναι η Ελληνική κουζίνα.

I read about Mazi on press in many occasions, so last weekend I went there with some friends to check it out for myself...And here I am ready for a Greek dinner .

Διάβασα για το Mazi σε πολλά περιοδικά, και γι'αυτό το περασμένο Σαββατοκύριακο το επισκέφτηκα παρέα με κάποιους φίλους... Και εδώ είμαι έτοιμη για ένα Ελληνικό δείπνο.

The menu was short but with very interesting dishes and it was so hard to choose as I wanted to try everything...

Ο κατάλογος ήταν μικρός αλλά με ενδιαφέροντα πιάτα και ήταν αρκετά δύσκολο να αποφασίσω τι να διαλέξω αφού ήθελα να τα δοκιμάσω όλα...

I loved Mazi’s wine list which is entirely Greek!

Μ’άρεσε πολύ η λίστα κρασιών του Mazi, η οποία είναι εξ’ολοκλήρου Ελληνική!

The food was really tasty with original greek ingredients and nice presentation.

Το φαγητό ήταν πολύ γευστικό με γνήσια παραδοσιακά συστατικά και ωραία παρουσίαση.

I had the feta tempura with lemon marmalade and caper meringue

Δοκίμασα την φέτα tempura με μαρμελάδα λεμόνι και μαρένγκα κάπαρης

The Octopus rizoto with red wine and spices

Το ριζότο με χταπόδι, κόκκινο κρασί και μπαχαρικά

And the cool souvlaki with pork strip in rice paper

Και το cool χοιρινό σουβλάκι σε ρυζόχαρτο

Mazi, which means ‘together’ in Greek, revives the sharing culinary tradition of Greece and it is a restaurant worth visiting !
