From Olympus with love

Long Spring weekend this week, thanks to the Ash Monday, or Clean Monday, if you prefer, holiday and we didn't miss the chance to make a short trip.  The weather on Sunday was sunny, although still a bit chill so we decided, together with some good friends, to get away from the city.  Our destination?  The mountain of the gods, Olympus.  

Aυτή η εβδομάδα ξεκίνησε με ένα ωραίο ανοιξιάτικο τριήμερο λόγω της Καθαράς Δευτέρας και δε χάσαμε την ευκαιρία να κάνουμε μια κοντινή εκδρομή.  Ο καιρός ήταν υπέροχος την Κυριακή , αν και  αρκετά δροσερός, και έτσι αποφασίσαμε ,παρέα με μερικούς καλούς φίλους να το σκάσουμε για λίγο από την πόλη.  Προορισμός?  Το βουνό των Θεών, ο Όλυμπος.

Beautiful setting, extraordinary view and nature on the edge, between Winter and Spring.  There was still snow at the paths and on the mountain but the trees have started getting green, the water flowing in the streams and the sun shining bright above us.

Yπέροχο σκηνικό, απίθανη θέα και η φύση στο όριο, ανάμεσα στο Χειμώνα και την Άνοιξη.  Υπήρχε ακόμη αρκετό χιόνι στα μονοπάτια και στις πλαγιές του βουνού, αλλά τα δέντρα ήταν πράσινα, τα νερά έρεαν στα ρυάκια και ο ήλιος έλαμπε στον ουρανό.

Tartar passion!

My week started with an invitation for tea at Anna's (my sister's) home.

H εβδομάδα μου άρχισε με μια πρόσκληση για τσάι στο σπίτι της αδερφής μου Άννας.

Having a relaxed mood to chat about the news of the weekend that has just passed.

'Εχοντας μια χαλαρή διάθεση να κουβεντιάσουμε για τα νέα του περασμένου Σαββατοκύριακου.

Τhe outfit: tartar short sleeve shirt (Pull and Bear), angora cardigan (Sfera), skinny jeans (Jbrand), sequinned scarf (Zara), skull pendant, boots (Ugg).

I decided to wear my favourite tartar short sleeve shirt which is so fashionable during the last three years and will be one of the trends for Autumn/Winter 2013.  

Moschino presented a whole tartar collection in the runway of his fashion show during the Milan's fashion week for A/W 2013.  The collection was full of tartar shirts, kilts, dresses, overcoats etc.  So Scottish!!!

Aποφάσισα να φορέσω το αγαπημένο μου καρώ κοντομάνικο πουκάμισο, το οποίο ειναι πολύ στη μόδα τα τελευταία τρία χρόνια και θα είναι τάση το Φθινόπωρο και το Χειμώνα του 2013.

O oίκος μόδας Μoschino παρουσίασε ολόκληρη συλλογή καρώ στην επίδειξη τoυ στην εβδομάδα μόδας στο Μιλάνο για το Φθινόπωρο/Χειμώνα 2013.  Η σύλλογη διέθεται καρώ πουκάμισα, φούστες, φορέματα, παλτό κτλ.  Τόσο Σκοτσέζικα!!!

The tartan shirt can be worn from morning till late evening, always depending on the other pieces you will combine it with.  Pairing it with your favourite pair of jeans or a pair of leather trousers, or otherwise, open with a t-shirt underneath, like Anna did.

To καρώ πουκάμισο μπορεί να φορεθεί από το πρωί έως το βράδυ, εξαρτάται πάντα από τα υπόλοιπα ρούχα με τα οποία θα το συνδυάσεις.  Ταιριάζει με το αγαπημένο σου τζην ή δερμάτινο παντελόνι, ή αλλιώς ανοιχτό φορώντας ένα t-shirt από μέσα, όπως το φόρεσε η Άννα.
