Armata weekend at Spetses!

Last week, I escaped to Spetses island for the long weekend of the impressive celebration of Armata.  It is about a series of cultural and religious events with highlight the burning of the effigy of the turkish flagship.  This event is dedicated to the glorious win of Greeks against Turks, in the sea of Spetses island.

Την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα, απέδρασα στις Σπέτσες για το τριήμερο της εντυπωσιακής γιορτής της Αρμάτας.  Πρόκειται για μια σειρά πολιτιστικών και θρησκευτικών εκδηλώσεων με αποκορύφωμα το κάψιμο του ομοιώματος της τουρκικής ναυαρχίδας.  Η εκδήλωση είναι αφιερωμένη στη μεγαλειώδη νίκη των Ελλήνων απέναντι στους Τούρκους, στα νερά των Σπετσών.

Τhe rest of the evenings, we had fun with my sister and some lovely friends that we were together in Spetses.

Μοst of the nights, we enjoyed some drinks at Votsalo bar...

Τα υπόλοιπα βράδια, διασκεδάσαμε με την αδερφή μου και αγαπημένους φίλους που ήμασταν μαζί στις Σπέτσες.

Τα περισσότερα βράδια, απολαύσαμε κάποια ποτά στο bar Βότσαλο...

...and we had dinner at Orloff restaurant.

You should definately visit Spetses island during the Armata weekend that always takes place during the second Saturday of September!

Πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να επισκεφτείτε τις Σπέτσες κατά το Σαββατοκύριακο της Αρμάτας το οποίο είναι πάντα το δεύτερο Σάββατο του Σεπτεμβρίου!
